Conservation of the water

We all know that the water is essential for us, so we must take care of it.

We only can use sweet water, which is only the 30% of the total water of the planet. The problem is that the water is wasted, polluted, or it is disappearing because of the global warming.

What we should do?

Check that all the taps work well and don´t leak.

Close the taps while you are washing the dishes, cleaning your teeth, etc.

Don´t take long showers and avoid dip bath.

Don´t use a lot of water for the washing-machine.

Don´t throw rubbish to the rivers, lakes.

Try to avoid agrochemicals for the crops, because this concerns the underground water.

Don´t use sparys, smoke cigarrets, in order to prevent the global warming, this produce the melting of the glaciers, which have a lot of sweet water. whet they melt, the sweet water is's mixed with the salty water.

Friends

The sitcom Friends is about the lives of 6 friends, Rachel, Ross, Monica, Chandler, Joey and Pheobe; who live in New York.

In high school Rachel was a spoilt person and Monica's friend. After she left Barry at the altar, she wanted to start a new life, so she moved to Monica's apartment in Manhattan and started working as a waitress in Central Perk.

Monica wasn't as popualr as Rachel was in high school and her parents were never proud of her. She works as a chef, she is obsessive with the cleanliness cleanness. She has an older brother called Ross.

Ross is a palenthologist, . in high school he was in love with Rachel, and his best friend is Chandler.

Chandler lives with joey in an apartment in front of Monica's. He has a job he doesn't like, . he is always making jokes and he isn't lucky with women, . his only girlfriend was Janice.

Joey is an actor and he always has a new girlfriend, he's really funny but not very intelligent.

Phoebe is a masseuse, . she grew up in the streets and she doesn't know her family well. She plays the guitar at the coffehouse Central Perk where the six always meet.

I think it is a great programme and it's really funny. It also teaches you about American culture, and if you want to practice your english, it is very useful to see English programs. Of course: don't read the subtitles!
